The first and the second merged AfroMag Club Event was held at 6th October. A good number of participants came to the kick off event. After the registration there were interesting and interactive presentations about different topics related to the world of work. The president of the Foundation for Africa, France Mutombo as a person who arrived to Hungary from Africa had a speech about his own experiences and thoughts on job search, the jobseekers attitude and motivation and the possible cultural differences. Emőke Takács, the Program Manager of AfroMag project held an introductory presentation about the services provided within the frame of the AfroMag program. At least but not last the participants with the help of our coach expert, Ágnes Mező could learn useful tips on how to prepare themselves for the job seeking and what are the main characteristics of the good and informative CV and cover letter. During the club event the participants could get to know each other, had interactive tasks in small groups and in pairs. The club event also provided platform for sharing related experiences of the participants.
